Sewing Machine Oil?

Hi,

We are looking for some lubricating oil for a sewing machine. Just wondering can you use any oil or does it have to be the oils sold specifically for sewing machines? Can anyone recommend a cheap source for buying this online? Many thanks.

3 in 1 and make sure you run some scraps of material through the machine to soak up any excess / drips.
