Natwest select account

Hi there,
We applied online yesterday for a joint select account. It said we couldn't have an overdraft but we do get a cheque book. Once we get the paperwork we have to go into branch to show id and then the account will be opened. Does anyone know if this account is a fully fledged current account or will there be restrictions? Ive read about natwest doing blue and purple debit cards what is the difference and which will we get?
Thanks

If you didn't get an overdraft then it will be restricted such as receiving the blue debit card instead of the fully functional purple card.0
