I just wanted to add something from another perspective.
I don't have debts and have savings. But for some reason went on a splurge Re Cothing and Shoes that I didn't need recently.
They went back too as I realised I had similar ones, didn't feel I could justify the spend!
It's sometimes human nature to do a "not needed shop". Nothing to do with depriving yourself of treats, being in debt, mental illness or anything.
The telling point is that OP recognised she didn't really need them and returned them as opposed to putting them on plastic. I think that says a lot about how far they have came and they need to be congratulated for that.0
