Is it made by a company you've heard of before? If not, it will almost certainly be a cheap, badged, generic Chinese product, and the chances are that the company that sells it won't be in existence in a years time.
If none of that is an issue for you, seek out online reviews. If you can find none, look elsewhere.0 -

I'd say that almost any Android tablet isn't worth buying unless it's one of the better Samsungs, the Nexus or other Asus models.I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.

Without a link its impossible to say whether its a good deal or not,so much rubbish out there.0

Mention of stylus usually indicates a resistive screen. Run for the hills, will be utter crap to use.0

What brand is it?
Even for those cheap chinese tablet, there are brand with better support/ update firmware more frequent. Also, you would probably get more help if the tablet is more popular. I suggest you to slatedroid to ask them what they recommend for those chinese tablet.0 -

Not so at all!
I have Ployer Momo 8 Bird. Cost about 70 quid and its a perfectly useful device. Browses web easily has a better than many resolution, 4:3 8" screen is a good size to watch video which it plays no problem. I have just been watching a movie on my tv using the Momo as an HD player via an hdmi cable. Momo is slim, glass multitouch screen, long battery life, android 4... and so on. What does a Samsung do better? I agree there are a lot of crappy cheap 7" tablets out there but there are plenty of excellent non big brand ones. Even 'brand' ones or even Apple products are made in some Chinese sweat shop after all.
