Had a lovely walk in the sunshine and got back to a panicking DD. Her workplace is chocka and desperate for her to go in. DH drove her out and says he has never seen anything like it as there are cars parked at the side of the road everywhere and no space in their enormous car park. DD was supposed to be dog sitting for my parent's Lab this afternoon too so guess who will have to go and check on him now - sigh.
Just ate half a small Cadbury's Easter Egg - yum.

That is dog walked so not going out again as we had already had our walk for today.
DD is working at least Monday and Wednesday too FF and it is hard work. She isn't 15 yet and has important exams coming up but at least it keeps her out of mischief. The boys all worked when they were at school too. I'm sure peeps must think I made them all work!

Hope everyone is having a nice Easter Sunday

OH and I have just finished steam cleaning the bathroom tiles :eek:
It's a high ceilinged Victorian flat and the bathroom is tiled to the ceiling and is long and narrow so took us a while but it is fabulously clean and shining so well worth it :T

Had considered buying one of these cleaners but have now decided just to borrow this one again as it was hard work :rotfl:Actually the one we borrowed was the one Argos are advertising and I looked on Amazon and it didn't get very good reviews.

Apart from that been managing the hourly comps and dragging my way through the VERY slow mag dailies :mad:

Used my voucher, (phew expired today) had a New Yorker pizza and juice on the house.

I was lucky that I had various jobs during the evening, weekend and school holiday's to boost my adolescent finances!

I don't like the idea of the steam cleaners that use the microfibre pads.
They would get dirty too quickly (how many pads would you need on the go?) and the faff of washing them.





Meow is so funny, scheming how to jump on my back! Caught me going out and coming home, leaping from a chair in the hall! *BLESS*

I've had a small piece of Easter choc from my sister's VAST collection! Haha.

What mag dailies are slow? I did all the Marie Claire ones I was interested in earlier, have yet to tackle the rest.....

Parentals are cooking up a lovely beef hash for tea. What are you all having?

They are all slow Emmap! We are just having a bought Lasagna
DS3 was in briefly after working 6 hours without a break and now back at work and no text from DD saying she is finished so not a fun Easter for everyone. Worse for DS as he doesn't get any extra pay - Chefs seldom do. Government bring in lots of laws on people's hours etc but no-one pays any attention.

I got my tattoo this morning! first one! its a vintage mirror with an eye in the middle. It didnt even hurt that much

now im resting eating all my chocolate eggs!

and having a well deserved break from comping! i put so much effort in last week or so and havent won anything! oh well lol
