Had a nice day out at the zoo and followed by some shopping.
I was feeling a bit tired and had a slight headache so I was happy to go home and relax and just when I was about to put my feet up a group of 7 boys started hanging around the car park outside the flats being really loud vocally and making noise with skateboards. I politely asked them to leave by explaining that the car park is private property and that there is plenty of room at the recreation and playgrounds nearby to play in. They said okay but never moved and i asked them again and they said the same again and did not move so I have called the police (who said they will see what they can do).
It may sound over the top but I would rather just get rid of them as soon as possible or they will probably be here every day now that the days are getting longer and it's the Easter holidays (and the weather may eventually get warmer!).
I am also speaking from experience as there was a group of young girls who used to hand around here every day despite being asked to leave each time and i left it a few weeks before i called the police and wish I hadn't left it so long as they just got worse each day as they started throwing things at our windows, shouting and the last straw was when they vandalised one of the walls.
It's a nice village that I live in but the building I live in seems to attract kids even though no kids live in the flats (as there are only 3 flats and they are all 1 bedrooms)0 -
Had some lovely fresh Morrisons H.C.Buns when they were 8 for £1. (Not a lover of the long life ones)
This would be a nice alternative (HCB pudding)
Glad you enjoyed the Zoo Paa.
The suspense goes on Emmap0 -
The boys left pretty soon after my last post and I don't think the police ever arrived as I didn't hear any vehicles. Oh well if they come back I will not say anything to them and just call the police as seeing me again may just encourage them to be worse.
I am off to Milton Keynes tomorrow to spend the day with another friendBut now it's time to catch up on some comping.

Aw sorry your date didn't happen today EmmaP. Maybe next time perhaps!
Paadzer, I live on a quiet narrow road but opposite are two garages, the owners are on the other end of the street as their garages are the bottom of their gardens but there's always teens hang around there smoking and drinking if they can! They drew all over one of the garages but the owners can't see them. Luckily there's always someone who will call street wardens to shift them but it's annoying! Always the same kids coming back.
Well I put a line full of washing out then went to mums and as soon as I got there, it started snowing heavy but didn't lay. Washing was dry when I got back!
Mums dog started barking and yelping and when we looked she had cornered a ferret, she is great at catching mice but she didn't kill it, just bit it and it bit her back! BIL took ferret to RSPCA and it was fine afterwards, just playing around. It was so cute though!Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
