Sheils, just heard on BBC news that Arran wants potential tourists to know that the side of the island where the ferry comes in is OK, seems the worst of the problems are on the other side across from Kintyre, might be worth further checking

Yes thanks elle I thought that but still a bit worried about what the forecast might be and when tickets might arrive. DD probably needing lifts on Monday too - seems strange to give me tickets for Easter Monday. Still thinking about it as I hate wasting prizes.

Wingo - we have had blizzard type weather here too. DD wants us to go down to hers tomorrow but still a bit worried about what weather we will come across on the way. The snow is still piled up on her street as well!

Sheils - Thank you so much for telling us about Katie I wondered where she was as had missed her posts. Its a shame about the tickets, in a way it would be better if they didn't arrive in time if you see what I mean then you could maybe contact them and tell them how disappointed you are about them arriving too late and they might do something for you.

Afternoon everyone. Well done on the wins.I hope Katie feels better soon and is back in the inn. Snow flurries were forecast today but haven't happened yet.I'm haveing big probs getting into my hotmail account it's so slow, anyone else having problems?

Hi Indie, yes OH has hotmail and it is very slow sometimes and often freezes in the middle of the emails when going through them.
