Received my 2 Giant Stripes - Maoam today. Thank you georgy- girl and Barnabysue (for putting on my FB). If anybody sees a comp for an oven please let me know as my oven is knackered. Tried to get it working again but no joy.

I need to start doing more comps if I want nice gifts for Christmas.
Weather has been really good here the last few days but they are saying we are due a really cold spell this weekend.

Weather been good here too - think we normally get much the same as you. Glad you got your Maoam prize. Have won a couple of little prizes from it too.

Your ice-cream sounds great Becks but my freezer is not working very well so I would have needed to buy a new one if I had won!

i have cleared space in the freezer not sure it's enough but will try.

Anyone got any hints or suggestions for a nice aftershave for the besties birthday. Hubby never really bothers with it so have no idea whats nice :rotfl: I'm gonna have to get brave and ask the men at work when i notice they smell nice :rotfl:

Sheils you have done well in prizes in Oct.
I bought 2 Apple Crumbles and an Apple Pie in Iceland and now my oven isn't working so I can't bake them. Haven't starved yet as the top of the cooker is working so I can still fry/boil food etc. Have been using a deep fat fryer (not good for the figure). I am trying to lose weight so maybe my oven not working is a good thing.
When does all the Advents start is it November or December?

Becks, with 3 sons and a DH who is into aftershave I am an expert!!!
My favourite is Armani Mania but Lacoste Red,Green and white are really good too. DS1s favourite is Paco Rabane and DS2s Hugo Boss.

It was dreadful when our oven wasn't working dreams but the rings and grill weren't either which was worse! Kept buying microwave meals which cost a fortune. As it was only 18months old I had to get it fixed and it took them over a week to get the part and that was with me creating h*ll.
Think some of the Advents will be starting in Nov but not meaning to do many as quite often there is only one prize per day and there is only so much time in the day.

Dreams, do you have a battery in the bottom of your oven? I thought mine had broke before and it was the battery! Mine is gas oven. A few yrs ago at Xmas ours broke and we couldn't get an oven till delivered till after Xmas. Had to have a microwave Xmas dinner!

Becks, I've heard jean Paul gaultier and also ted baker is nice too! Hubby prefers lynks! you'd probably be better off going into boots and testing them. There's also a boots evening coming up soon so you cold get extra points or offers.

Free fan, I also thought it already had twitter in title too. There have been a few comps that I've seen with the title.
