Alfie I think my computer and yours are having the same bother. I find my computer very slow (only 7 months old). Mine also kept cutting out after a few minutes. I find it so annoying and stopped using it for awhile as I didn't have the patience.

Just as an experiment last night I tested every site I went onto for viruses. Sorry to say MSE give me 2, The Sun give me 10, AOL give me 4 and Googlemail also give me some. After visiting each site I ran a security scan on my laptop and it discovered them and resolved them.

Not doing as many comps, not winning any comps, surprise, surprise but still pop in now and again to catch up with all the news in the Inn.

Hi Dreams - sorry you are still having problems with your laptop. I am fairly clueless about these things but I remember reading somewhere about someone changing their security and not deleting the other one properly and it was making things slow and creating problems. Don't suppose it could be that could it? x

Nelie: Mac computers were hardly targeted by viruses/malware in the past. They have become more of a target these days due to their popularity and the realisation that the owners are likely to be richer. (Also the danger is often over-looked as Windows users are more on their guard!)

Best to get an Internet security suite if you haven't got one.

I've been to park with the kids to get some air, away from all this dust in the house. I had another good clean and dust when I got in today, it's amazing how much it lays when you're doing work in the house. No work has been done in kitchen today neither. It's no wonder the kids are feeling ill! Just gave DD a nice warm bath and gonna plait her hair up so it will be curly on Monday.

Glad you managed to book another break Sheils. You find some good bargains! if ever you're up in Great Ayton they do lovely pies there too! I'm sure your hubby will love them

Takeaway sounds lovely FF - What did you have?

Dreams - If you're running windows, sometimes windows' own firewall/antivirus can run at the same time as the other anti-virus and can cause problems. You should also try and see if you're running unnecessary programs and defragment it too. I know my BF is always doing that with his and it seems to run quicker.

Dreams: you best option might be to wipe your whole computer and reinstall Windows.

I wouldn't trust MSE as it often misses invasions though better than no protection! Also a MSE removal doesn't always clear the back door entry to a computer. (Trojan)

Ocado emailed me this morning with a Sunday 15% off code. Bit of a scramble to put together an order as already got shopping in.

Whiskas Simply, Kitchen towel, wul, meat, fish, potato wedges, foam bath, soup, big soup, eggs offers bagged.

Ocado is a bit dear for some things so will still have to go to bricks n mortar stores.
