I'm a bit nervous now, just had an email from DD to say that there are definitely 'dognappers' in the area, we had heard rumours. One of her colleagues Dad was followed home with his dog yesterday and they followed him right into his house, they only cleared off when his wife and son appeared. Apparently they are stealing the dogs to use for training fighting dogs. It's really worried me, we'll have to be really aware of what's going on around us when we're out. Apparently they pull up in vans and just snatch dogs while you're on the street too

That's horrible, how worrying for you :eek: Can't stand that animals can be treated so cruelly :mad:

Just baked my first Cherry Cake (Mary Berry's version). I am hoping that all the cherries are in place (and haven't sunk to the bottom) when I cut it open later. Half will be going to my sister and her family so it had better taste great!

Sounds good TC, I love cherry cake. I made some cheese scones this morning and just had a couple for lunch, still warm, they were really nice if I do say so myself.

Nice. :cool: I do love a good cheese scone me! Very satisfying when you make your own treats rather than get the shop bought versions, which are never as nice. :rotfl:

Hi Firefly - I have won the same £100 to spend at Littlewoods. Was wanting something like this as GD wants a dress to go to a Wedding, she's only 12 so should be able to find something from there. Pretty sure it is Cornishpastie1/Alison18 who helped with the URL. Of to thank. Found it by Google. Well to done to us both
