Quite windy and wet at the mo tho hoping it will brighten up as the day goes on.

FF - you were very brave creeping out at night to feed the foxes :eek: But well done :T Bet the foxes are loving it. Do you ever see any fox cubs? xx

I tend to be a bit feeble at night, once it's dark down come the shutters and doors are bolted.

Had to giggle at the 'thing' (maybe washing:D) flying past you :eek: (tho I would have prob had heart failure if it had been me!!:o)

Morning everyone - pretty stormy here too, was going to pop along to the PO to post a parcel, won't bother unless the wind drops. Since I (literally) got blown over in strong winds and broke my shoulder 5 years ago I am too scared to venture out when the weather is like this

OH saw his surgeon yesterday at OP appointment and she was pleased with his progress. He doesn't need to go back until February 2014 Came back quite cheery.

Your question from last night sheils - what would we all like to win- I would love one of those Kenwood Mixers, would certainly encourage me to bake more.

Away to see if I can find anything new on the board to enter, it's pretty dire at the moment as a few other peeps have noted.

Just had a lovely surprise - BIL sent me some lovely spring flowers from the Scilly Isles! Thought it was a prize at first as my birthday isn't until March. I sent him and his wife one of my flower wins last year so I take it he was repaying me with a surprise. Told DH I must have married the wrong brother! :rotfl:

It is a nasty wet day here but the wind has dropped so thats good. Took Sister to OP app yesterday and her hip has heeled nicely so thats a relief. I am really behind with comps and worked solid last night to try and get the end of month comps done, nearly there but not in advance like I was before Sister came.

Firefly, Well done on the jeans size thats fantastic. It must be lovely to be able to go out like that at night without worrying. Hope you see some baby cubs soon. Thanks for the fairy dust too.

Sheils - Thanks for the heads up on the extra dailies, forgot to tell Fred but he sussed it out thismorning so thats good. What a lovely surprise receiving the flowers, just shows what goes around comes around. About what we would like to win - We would really like to win a kindle or ipad as we haven't got either but we have been doing really well lately so are quite happy and grateful for what we have won as they have all been useful to someone. Having 6 offsprings and 7 grandkids there is always someone wanting whatever we win.

Alfie - glad you are OK- big hugs.

Ellemm - So glad you OH's appointment went well yesterday.

B.Sue - looking back through I saw that lovely picture of Cooper with his arm on Finlay - that was lovely. Glad you are enjoying having him.

Well done FF! Don't do the baby comps as there isn't a single baby in the family at all. We have one 3 year old and that is it which is amazing in a big family like ours. For years there were babies all the time. One day it will all start again!

Glad your sister is doing so well Sylvia. I haven't heard from wingo either which is not like her. I have left a message on FB but haven't had a reply and she hasn't sent me any shares or anything either. Don't think she has been on here lately so maybe it is her internet.

Have been emailing lady at Unilever with my WEM and the link to name on winners page and she says she will make sure I get my prize within the week. :j

Edit: Wingo says she is OK but hasn't been comping.
