The Compers Inn Part 39

Good Morning,
Hope everyone is well today especially your DD wingo. Glad your dogs were OK Sylvia - you expect vets to be animal lovers don't you.
Feeling cold this morning but I don't see any frost.
Have tried ordering my shopping from Tesco when I got offers from them but I never really got into it. I can see why peeps without cars do it though. Asda sent me a free delivery offer and I had a look as we don't have an Asda within 50 miles but I couldn't see anything I wanted any cheaper than at Tesco which was surprising as they are supposed to be cheaper. What does everyone else do with their Tesco vouchers? I always used them for theme parks and days out but last year we had the Merlin passes that I won and this year kids don't want to go anywhere with us. I have £220 worth sitting here at the moment and about £24 building up again. Will have to change at least £30 before they run out. I renew our English Heritage with them and am thinking of getting a Pizza Express code. The hotel deals aren't really worth it as you are paying such high rates to start with.
Have a lovely weekend.

Morning!!!! My goodness, dark and stormy here, thunder and lightening!!!!
Puddy cat doesn't take any notice cos me heating bangs and clangs away and she's used to loud noises!!!!
So pleased your wee pet is ok sylvia. We worry about them don't we, bless them. Can recall many a time of sleeping on the sofa with a poorly pet over the years. Then they recovered, slept well, bouncing all over the place and I was walking round like a zombie! Would do the same again though, every time.
Puddy cat (aker fearless slater slayer) has found a poor slater by patio doors. I thought she was quiet!!! Poor wee soul (slater) has rolled himself up into a ball - so have just put him out the back door, cat has just strutted off - naughty me spoiling her game!!!!
Re online shopping, I love it. Must admit, I went into it big time after my wee errrm accident. They are so helpful and kind and nothing is too much trouble. You get good deals and it just saves so much hassle. Makes food shopping a pleasure as opposed to trawling round supermarkets, waiting in the queue, etc etc. Local produce I just buy from the village store, milk, eggs, veg, papers etc. Seems to work well for me. xxxxxx
Well done to all winners in the Inn!!!! It's like night here, very dark, guessing more storms to come. Alf xxxxxxMILITARY WIVES CHOIRSHELP for HEROES0 -

here !!!
sneaked under the duvet last night!
Really got into online groceries last year.
Around half my shopping was delivered last year.
Ocado is my fav for freshness, % of order, delivery fee can be pricey + packing can be a let down.(they normally tempt back with money off vouchs)
Tesco best for prices, lower delivery fee but website is a pain.
Sainsbury is my back-up provider if no slots at the others.good luck today
must get comping !!!!

Oh yes, my puddy cat was snuggling under my duvet also!!!! Brrrr, still very cold here.
I use tesco and waitrose on and off. They have been an absolute blessing for me. The drivers know me now, and are an absolute pleasure to deal with.
I do like to support my village shop however, gives me exercise walking there, and they stock everything from local farmers, so I get my wee bits and pieces from them through the week. So, I have the best of both worlds. Beautiful fresh eggs, fresh fruit and veg and the other stuff is ordered on line. Mega!!! xxxxMILITARY WIVES CHOIRSHELP for HEROES0 -
