Having a nice lean pork chop for tea with a little apple sauce and some lovely veg. Have been really good today and been really careful with the calories.

It's been exceptionally calm and mild the past week so I suppose we've been lucky. Heating on y'day / today after a few days switched off.



Anybody seen "Hugo" it's great/enchanting/magic/emotional/innocent? We need more like this! Some great actors in it.

I got a second win yesterday evening - an "AS London facial collection" from Day 24 of the Latest in Beauty Advent. I assume it's creams etc that you use on your face.

Absolutely freezing here in Surrey today - have had a sudden influx of birds to the garden feeders as they know they need to eat more against the cold. Saw 3 male blackbirds at the same time in our small garden at lunchtime - very unusual - and they didn't tolerate each other for long.

Hi everyone,

Had a lovely night away and saw Stirling Castle properly for the first time. (Got in free as we are English Heritage Members) We were lucky with the weather yesterday but we had fog all the way home today which wasn't nice.
Well done to all the winners. I had a WEM for a £20 Love to shop voucher from the FB Lemsip Comp :j

I have a pension plan with Scottish Amicable going back decades (now the Pru), Craigforth/Sterling rings bells. My only carpet bagging moment I received a windfall when the Pru took them over.

I'm dreading when this snow comes _pale_ hate being cold! Son is getting excited if it snows! I has turned really cold now.
I've spent most of the afternoon sorting out my patio door blinds, I washed them in washer with elastic tied round them to keep them together but they've shrunk a bit this time. most of the tops snapped on them so I had to sew some different ones in but my bloomin' sewing machine kept snapping on the nylon thread! Got them up now but think next time I'll steam them hung up!
