Hi Tulip.

It sounds like a form of malware.Some AV packages may not pick it up.
I understand that this is quite good at sorting malware out.

Good luck sorting it out.

Evening all x Hope everyone has had a good day? I was back at work today and am knackered Only 2 days til the weekend though! :j I've been lucky enough to have my first 2013 win today. It's a very nice t-shirt from a Fabulous comp. I'm not sure who posted it so will have to go have a look...

I was quite surprised at the news re Loquax :eek: I used the forums on there in the past but haven't been on there much recently.

Sheils have you googled your tv make/model n fault incase there is a remedy there?

(Lovely feeling in getting something going again although sometimes slightly modified in function and looks! LOL)

That's the one I've used in the past weeowens along with a Ccleaner it sorted out my old pc.

Sheils, fingers crossed you might win a tv. Maybe try unplugging it all and reconnecting leads/scarts. Hope you get it sorted.
My mum is still waiting for someone to come and fix hers since well before Xmas! Her sound eels going off.

Thanks weeowens for your kind help,I use Microsoft Essentials now and it found some adware so restarted pc to finish off its cleaning cycle
