Well I went to town (no work today Wingo. Back tomorrow) and got the wrapping paper and cards that MIL wanted me to get

Also went into Boots and got a New Year dinner present for MIL, FIL and Dave. Got MIL a pack of 4 Boots Naturals shower gels for £6 Dave a pack of 4 beers for £3.50 and FIL a FCUK shower gel and deodorant for £4. Also treated myself to a Natural Collection Vanilla gift set for £5

Got a mint and eucalyptus gift set in Superdrug for £1.49 (bargain for whats in it!!!) and a diary/ address book for 49 p in card factory.

Plus.....



...I couldn't wait. I ordered my Kindle Fire HD (If i win one now comping fairy it will still be put to use as hubby wants one too now!) :j :j :j

I have had a great afternoon I vaccummed as floors needed a clean so felt better after that,read magazines Love it and Full House and my newspaper.Relaxing this evening and not doing much.

Glad everyone seems to have had a good day. We had been going to take DD to the sales but she got a better offer! She is back now with some nice stuff from New Look - she can spot a bargain a mile away.
We went to a nearer town and I found a nice pair of trousers (not in the sale) and restocked our food supplies.

sat with loo roll, and vic. went out to sales and got wet now have the snots as does dd
hubbys been out with a friend since 1 so bet he,ll come back steaming
so i get to sit here with remote to myself doing some comps for as long as i can
suppose theres time for a few last 2012 wins to come rolling in

Haven't been to sales yet Sheils, my sis was in next yesterday and she said people were just snatching piles of clothes off rails...probably just to sell on! I think I would prefer to shop online. sounds like your DD done well in sales!

I am after some help & inspiration on all these competitions that I am missing out on. Where do I find them and where do I go to get links for new competitions. I am not very lucky really but im gonna give it a go &see how I get on.

Would be grateful for any advice from you guys.

Loubielou you just need to go to the competition forum on here. There are enough there to keep you going. Make sure you use the thanks and green tick buttons so you know which comps you have entered. Good luck
