Parcel from DHL finally turned up!!! Card left on 11th so I arranged for today. I know my path is slippy with ice this morning, I've done school run & how I didn't end up on floor I don't know lol so as watching for van to come (am also waiting for Yodel). Van pulled up, driver took a few steps up path then turned got back in van & drove off. Cue me phoning them to see what will happen now, driver said it's unsafe to deliver (fair enough), I said I was willing to meet them at van so driver doesn't have to come up so they called driver who agreed to come back but could be anytime today. I nipped upstairs, came back to knocking on back door which was my neighbour with my parcel - apparently he'd pulled up & gone straight to neighbours house. Why couldn't he have just done that in the first place then????

DH has had some mysterious texts and emails arranging a delivery which will arrive between 1.17 and 2.17 today (very precise!). He says he hasn't ordered anything and does do the occasional comp so we're now overexcited in case it's a win. Not long to wait, but the suspense is killing!

Happy Birthday to Barnabysue and good luck to everyone for their comping today.

Have to run out again now as lots of work to do...

Just about to have my mince pie FF - thank you! Postman just been with another Waterstones book which is enormous! Won another cake from Greggs a few mins ago too so another good day. Wonder if there will be any Stella Beauty winners in here today.

I think it was the FB comp Sheils.

He doesn't do that many comps and uses Loquax rather than MSE to find the ones he does so didn't remember where he'd done it.

Well done to your DH SueM - just in time for Christmas. Thanks for the heads up on the Times comp will have to get FireFly's egg timer out again I see.





Most of the pressies got now, just have to wrap them up so getting somewhere at last.


It is very cold and very wet here now.

We're back, it's been so funny watching Cooper's reaction. At first he was scared of Finlay, then he started frothing and within minutes poor Finlay was soaked. I think they're going to be great pals

I've had a Clarisonic facial gizmo that I asked for, some chocolates, an Angry Birds Game for my Nintendo and 2 links for my Nomination bracelet, one engraved Cooper and one engraved Finlay and both have little paw prints on, really pleased with those.

Also had a WEM for a LOGO Board Game, so that was nice to come home to.
