Sheils, well done on all your wins!!!! Are you sorted for xmas? Think im nearly sorted - sort of - but keep making lists for more things!! I don't spend much at xmas, try to stay sensible on pressies etc. But it's the food thing! You would think the end of the world was nigh!! Stocked up freezers so it's just i think, fruit and veggies, that sort of thing. Think the freezer stuff will keep me going for quite a few months If I get snowed in come Jan/Feb ..... I will survive! :rotfl::rotfl:

Yep I luv cats! Same here - my wee cat doesn't go out in this weather, her wee tootsies would be frozen. She doesn't like going out anyway, she likes staying with mum and enjoying the good life, food, sleep, food, toys, playing, winding me up!, food and finding the warmest spot she can, and yes, she takes the best spots!!!! Love her!!!:)

I have an admission - I have a serious fetish in these cold winter months to keep me warm, steaming hot and puts fire in me bones and I can't get enough of it!!.:eek: (Wingo ...... behave yourself now, its not what you think! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:) It's ....................... Crosse & Blackwell Leek & Potato Soup!!!!!! Yep, the way to go forward!!! Love it!!!

Brrrrrrrr, morning all, hope everyone is keeping warm.

I've just gone to put the recycling out and couldn't get the lid open, don't think I'll be going anywhere today!

On the plus side the roof of our conservatory is looking so beautiful, isn't nature amazing? It looks like an underwater world with waving seaweed, so pretty.

wingo and Alf, it has a good ring to it, have you thought of going on the stage? The next one leaves in 10 minutes

Slept in (for me) this morning so haven't any comps done.
I made some nice vegetable soup yesterday Alf which we all enjoyed.

Sorry folks, not been around much, I am sure struggling to keep my head about the water. What with the Advents as well and trying to get sorted for Christmas before I go to stay at Sister's next Monday.

Really need to paint the stair rail and clean the hall carpet today, will it get done? Not quite sure:( The trouble is the more comps the DH does the more of the housework and cooking I have to do:(


B.Sue, when did you say your birthday was, I usually make a note when people mention it but forgot.
