We were like that yesterday trying to walk out of the car park wingo as it hadn't been gritted and rain was falling on the snow. It was like a skating rink.

Mmmm like macaroon thank you FF - will have one later!

Wingo they always say try and walk normally on the ice... The more cautious you are of slipping the more likely you are to slip apparantly. Don't know if it works. I always try to walk normal but then i walk fast anyway so even if i slow down a bit it would still be a 'normal' pace

Just had a sausage butty at work seeing as i am working longer day and don't get much break.

What about posting it in the advents PCL and then highlight next to it the closing date so when the advents are over it won't get moved into GO? Or maybe put it on Main thread with a separate link also for advents? (confusing!)

son has just been sick at school he had yesterday off as cold cough now he,ll be off rest of week he is so rarely ill but really got something this time he hates being off school

Morning all, heavy snow here but it doesn't appear to be laying on the roads, although the garden is white. Could it be a white Christmas this year

Ploughing my way through the 7th Dec comps, then on to Dailies. I do my weeklies on a Wednesday too, IF there's time after that I'll hit the Advents. At some point I have to finish an online shop that I started yesterday or I will be paying £5.00 to have a loaf delivered

Hope it's a white Xmas BSue although I don't want any before it! Actually, don't mind snow...it's just sloppy slosh and slippy ice I don't like!
I know what you mean about time I keep going to drag myself away to get on with things then I see another comp I want to enter....:o think I'll have a coffee and start blitzing the house again!

Hi everyone,

Doing well so far with my advents, managing to enter everyday, even yesterday when I was out/cooking/having a CBA moment.

No snow yet in Birmingham, but decidedly chilly. Decided to forgo my morning walk in favour of some duvet time

Any news on LM or Dexter? Haven't been able to pop in so have no idea what's going on.

And also, not to sound ungrateful but 1000 squeezy ketchup holders but I don't manage to win one? I even got my sister to enter (she won't enter FB ones because it'll ruin her image apparently) but still nothing. Oh well, that's it folks, moan over!!
