I have just started to look at the Advents and have found some I really like - wonder how long I will remember to do them! Just remembered the Times comp, did it earlier on and then went out to deliver a card and promptly forgot.

Sheils, dont get stressed Christmas will just happen anyway. I have sisters op before Christmas and she will be staying for a while after.

Cat looked at me and strutted off - she thinks im mad and she cud be right!!!! :rotfl:

Fairly chilly here but thank god we don't have to deal with flooding. My heart goes out the those poor souls who have to deal with that.

Managed to mow the lawns couple of days back!!!! Just got so down looking at them and how long the grass had grown, so decided to treat the mower like a zimmer frame with a motor. It was sunny but chilly and dry. Managed it, albeit a bit haphazard!

I felt a slight sense of achievement because i am not proud of myself having the stupid accident in the first place, it was my fault. But if i can do a bit of low level gardening etc here and there, then i feel as if the days are looking brighter. No more climbing ladders for me tho!!! Makes me shudder now thinking about it

Forgot to say thanks for the crumpets FF - they were very nice! They are one of DHs favourites. The Shortlist prizes look really good on the Advents but think if I win any it will probably be Dorset Cereal Porridge.

At least you are getting on with your shopping Becks! DS3 says he will look for his presents tomorrow.
I have never heard of pikelets but DH says he thought they were thinner too.
Won a Pringles Speaker earlier too so will put it in DD's stocking if it comes in time.

I won a pringles speaker as well... It's on FB advent thread.There are 92,000 of them.lol. I can see me winning one a day,at least I can have them in every room. My son seems impressed with it so he is happy.I am still thinking it's friday i was waiting for a programme to come on till my son said it's not on saturdays.Never mind hopefully I will get the days back in the right order tomorrow.
