Yes we do have Red Squirrels in the woods near us Iluvcats but they are usually difficult to spot. We don't have any grey ones.
We very seldom get snow in our town. Think you are thinking of the road over Shap as being the high one and sometimes it does get bad but it is a motorway so well looked after now. The single carriage way sometimes still gets blocked there I think.

Received my prize from Maoam today: a sweatband and mini Maoam sweets. Postie has called every day this week. It is all Christmas presents. Would love a big cash prize in time for Christmas (hope the Comping Fairy is listening).

wingobins hope things improve for your DD, my niece in her last year at school was bullied (it was just jealously as she was very good at her work). She is very quiet and wouldn't tell anyone what she was going through. It nearly ended up tragically. Lucky it got sorted but she left school (at the most important time in her education). She went onto the local Tech and is now studying in Liverpool.
Discovered yesterday you can download free Kindle books onto your PC (Amazon lets you download an app). I now have Kindle on my PC, Kindle, Kindle Fire and my Android tablet. You would never guess I love reading.

Morning all, not often I'm first in

I woke up at 6:15 and couldn't get back to sleep, excitement about going to see the puppy has kicked in. I noticed my DD also posted on FB that she was wide awake at 6:30, we're so alike it's frightening.

Must get Dec 2nd comps done today, there seem to be a lot of them for some reason

Will have to go food shopping today and we have to take DD and one of her friends so they can do a bit of Xmas shopping. Think they will get the bus back though.

Morning all

Early one for me as I am waiting for the tesco man and he is due between 8-10. Normally get a text telling me a more exact time but as not had one I thought I better get up. Very very tired and don't feel great either so hope it passes soon.

Well last day of November already. This year is going too quick. We have been married over 4 months now. Flown!

We get to choose 1 hour slots here now Becks, mind you our drivers now seem to know that we will be here whatever time they come so they're quite often earlier that I've booked, they usually ring and say they're on their way.

Just had a text says 8.30 - 9.30 so hopefully won't be long now. We have never had the same driver yet. Hope today's isn't grumpy :rotfl:

Anyone know whats happening to the box I am writing in. Its gone right over to the right hand side of the page and I can only use is it I make it really small. It was like it last night as well so I didnt post a good night.

Becks, is it really 4 months since you got married? I had only just started coming into the Inn to chat then. Stay happy and look after each other. Marriage is a wonderful thing if you look after it.
