thanks Sheils I was eating an onion ring I got from a table this afternoon and it was from a restaurant I went to in the morning to see a friend,I saw a seagull fly fast and it landed with its sharp claws on the top of my head,I shook my head from side to side and I told it :rotfl:to get off,it wanted the Onion Ring I had in my hand but it didnt get it and flew off I think I have Good Luck from it for the Advents I was off to Iceland at the time

That sounds a bit scary Katie! The seagulls down your way seem much more aggressive than ours I suppose its because so many peeps chuck them their left over chips etc. Hope it brings you luck anyway.

OMG Katie, I would have died, like birds but the thought of one landing on me would have sent me into hysterics. Have a good time at Karaoke.


Went to Tesco to get the kindle. Thought I would have been able to double up on my Tesco Vouchers but you can't do that on the Kindle. Still it was a good price at £69 anyway so thats one of them out of the way.


Been looking at the Advent thread, don't quite know what to do about them yet, will probably just pick out the ones I like and do them as don't want to lose track of the regular daily's and main board. If anyone has any advise it would be welcome. Have tried moving some to a spreadsheet but dont quite know if this is going to work or not.


Fixed DH's lappie, it was Google Chrome that was causing the problem so have put FireFox on and its running like a dream, more like a new lappie should. He's only had it just over a month.

Sylvia i don't do many of the advents . I just go through the list and bookmark all the ones i am interested in in a folder , as the days pass you soon weed out any you initially thought were ok as ones you arent interested in so your list gets smaller.

The ladies will all tell you last year Original Source had a game on theor facebook page. With top 50 times per day gettig a bottle of one of their products. I played every day dec 1st -23rd and won every day so in january i had 23 original source shower gels/bath foams turn up :rotfl: i will confess i liked playing it but i did waste far too much time on it :rotfl: still working my way through my prizes though so least i haven't had to buy shower stuff for 12 months

Google Chrome seemed to go funny with me too Sylvia but I downloaded it again and it is Ok. Don't use it much but I like it to be there. Have never tried Firefox - I am so used to IE I can't be bothered changing. I don't really do many Advents but I really must go and check them out.
Some of us tried the original Source every day last year and never won yet! :rotfl:
Have been looking for the Continental Winter Tyre Comp which has been on the last two years but can't see it which is a shame. I won a £50 i-tunes voucher the first year and £50 Amazon and then a Family Merlin Pass last year. I didn't miss it did I?
