It's amazing what gold goes for now. DD took some broken bracelets and odd earrings in recently and got nearly £300 for them. I nearly threw them away when I cleared her old room out.

Has anyone noticed how on some posts the thanks count is different to how many have actually thanked? I posted on the kissmas thread and it said 3 thanks under my posts, I looked to see if one of the other regs were in and there was only 2 people shown! Wierd!

The coke truck was not far from us last week Becks at tesco, and it had the traffic at a standstill because it was so big! The police weren't happy as they could have escorted it to save the commotion!

How is your DD now wingo? Did she last the day at school?

She did thankfully but she is coming out with all wierd stuff! She told me that she seen a unicorn flying over the house and she saw sponge bob square pants on the way home from school! :eek: she was serious too! It's not like her to come out with this sort of stuff so I don't know what's going on with her. She gets her assessment with CAMHS on Tuesday.

Thanks all and yes they will last, mil sent us home with after eight mints on sunday so they will keep us going and we always have chocs in house so i shall be good and leave them for xmas day

We went to the coke lorry last week, it's amazing esp when they have the snow going just as it's getting dark, LO loved it (he loves the advert n I wanted to see it last yr but didn't get round to it lol), if you can go do it's fab and you get a free small can of coke LOL pic is also free, got a lovely family coke lorry photo LOL

Hi Jane, well done on the win glad LO enjoyed the coke truck!

DD was getting bullied last yr Becks, the kids said horrid things about her like she's been raped, she's not a virgin etc and they spread it all over facebook. She didn't even know what 'virgin & raped' meant and she's not on fb. It all got sorted and the instigators were on their final warning. But it's because she's so quiet and one on her own. She's happy when she's with us but she can't even relax in other families houses, she sits still and doesn't speak. I think it's aspergers (a form of autism) and she's having anxiety attacks when put in situations. Another EEG (for her brain) will also see if there's anything going on. She's waiting to have another one as she's had epilepsy in past. Sometimes it's hard to explain to people she's not ignorant, these assessments might give me an explanation. (sorry for the long rant! )
