Hope everyones pets are OK. It is a shame when they get scared of the fireworks. Don't have any pets now but I did used to have a very nervous Golden Cocker Spaniel.
Not doing that well with catching up on the comps Dreams! Have kept up with the Dailies though. Well done on the sweets win. DH just won headphones so we will have a pair and a retrobag each! Things will be back to normal after tomorrow.

Pouring hard here again DD and I have an optician appointment this morning so we have to venture out in it. I hate going there, wouldn't want to be her though, she wears contacts and they insist on taking them out for her rather than doing it herself, I'm very squeamish with eyes and can't imagine someone putting their fingers in mine.

Aaawww sylvia, hope your wee doggie's ok. Over the years i have had a border collie who used to tremble and hide under the table, we also used the same as u, with the fleece. My last dear little dog just got stressed out and barked non stop at every bang.

Peeps nowadays seem to set the fireworks off for every occasion - not just bonfire nite.:( Wish shops would stop selling them and just have organised events - much safer as well.

Not been too bad here apart from the odd bang going off but guessing tonite and tomorrow we will be hearing some. Although pretty wet here so maybe that will put a damper on things.

Luckily wee cat does not seem to be phased by the noises. She's used to the boiler clanging all through house (hammer horrors could use it as scarey sound effects):rotfl::rotfl:

Morning all,

Looking quite nice here this morning. Will be running DS2 up to Lockerbie this morning to catch his train to Edinburgh where he changes to go to Tain (NE Scotland) Going to take a picnic and have a walk in the area with DH afterwards. Might call in and see the Rememberance Garden which is there for all the victims of the Lockerbie Disaster.
