I love fireworks Dreams but hardly ever see them. We did have them for the Queens Jubilee and they were brilliant but there are never any at Halloween or Bonfire Night. We have been known to go away for the night to Carlisle or Glasgow just to see some but won't be doing it this year I don't think.

I am South, but mum & grandparents were North, mum couldn't speak a word of English until she was 12, by the time she had me 10 years later she couldn't speak Welsh! For some bizarre reason the language is different South & North.
I cannot speak Welsh though I do have a GCSE in it (makes me sound young when I say that, though I did sit O levels 2 years earlier) Can all play guess my age now :rotfl:

All quiet round her now, just how I like it! no doubt mr spider will be back through the door _pale_

Dreams, sounds like a great night for you! We haven't had many fireworks to what they normally is, but I guess the weather has a lot to do with it. I just wish they would ban them loud bangers! Theres no need for them!

Becky, well done on getting an o' level in welsh! :T had to laugh at your mum forgetting how to speak welsh after a while!

I agree with you both Becks & Sheils....I don't really like Halloween & bonfire night, but make the most of it for the kids

Jasper seemed to like dressing up though....:D

hi Becky welcome to The Inn nice to see another face in here.

Hope everyone has had a good night. I do very much like that i can put the red cross on posts without opening them now as before i was't using it unless i opened a post and then on further reading didn't want to enter.

Oh dear they have 8 legs and 8 eyes, if they moved a bit slower I might find them appealing, it's the scuttling and crawling that terrifies me, give me a snake or a rat any day!
