Postie brought the cafe direct sample yesterday, nothing today!
I'm waiting on an anti bark collar that I ordered for jasper over a week ago. Hope it comes before we go away at weekend just incase he's barking at fireworks or other dogs there. Not sure if it will work though!

Is it a spray one or an electric one wingo, I hate the thought of those. Have you tried the bandage method that I posted earlier, it really does work.

We put the batteries in, hung it from the ceiling, pressed the one button and it makes scary noises as the spider descends from the ceiling and back again. OMG its enough to put you off spiders for life. Has anyone else won one?


We have a hand held bark buster which has a battery. We find we do not need to press it just pick it up and thats enough.


Had a lovely tea. We had roast chicken, roast sweet potato wedges with garlic and and basil, and carrots.


Are you all ready for Halloween tomorrow, sweets at the ready?

Sylvia no sweets in our house as wont get any and don't believe in it anyway (yes im a spoilsport) no kids in our flats anx they cant get in to trick or treat. We were never allowed to go as kids. Its not so bad when they are little and with parents but some of the older ones can be very troublesome

I've got some bags of Halloween sweets my DD brought back from America, so they'll be getting handfuls of them. I've got some funsize chocolates just in case, if we don't need them we'll enjoy those ourselves.

oh that's what i miss about leaving the old house, used to love halloween night :j we always got bags of sweets, lollies & treats in for them coming round used to make them up in diff bags with some money, sweets etc
though we always had the cheeky ones that would come back later thinking we wouldn't remember them :rotfl:bless
where we are now it's private retirement flats & we have security so kids can't come round or knock, i do miss the fun
of it all :eek::D

Hate companies who send emails with the title of their competition in the subject line only then to say you didnt win. Also had one off cocoa boutique. Applied other day to win a chace to be a taster on fb for them so when an email arrives headed "choose whic chocolates you want to try" you think you have been successful. Grrrr naughty companies :rotfl:
