DR+. BPA AOS code of practice breach.

Hmmm, think I've found a glaring breach by Debt Recovery Plus of the BPA AOS Code of Practice.

I have found a place where they are stating publicly that they deal with parking fines.

COP:

14.2 You must not use terms which imply that parking is
being managed, controlled and enforced under statutory
authority. This includes using terms such as ‘fine’, ‘penalty’
or ‘penalty charge notice’.

Naughty Naughty!

    County court judgements

Contrary to what you may have read on various web forums Debt Recovery Plus Ltd DOES apply for county court judgements's (CCJ's) against individuals and companies who resist payment of parking charge notices. Please don't believe everything you read on the forums. See the list below for some of the CCJ's we have successfully applied for in recent months

We regularly and consistently issue CCJ's to non payers. If we are successful in issuing a CCJ then costs and charges will be added to the oustanding amount which will increase it quite substantially.

Is that a breach? they issue CCJs now <laugh> pathetic really
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

No, I've found a public site where they state they deal with parking fines rather than parking charges.

But if its not on their site, I have found something though that is of interest and I have reported it to the dvla already, I will post up as soon as I get an answer from them probably on Monday now.

Yes, clearly they regularly and consistently take matters to court to such a degree that they did so on 0 (Zero) occasions during 2011. That is misleading on its on but my crystal ball predicts nothing will be done about it.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com
