santander overdraft

hi guys if you use you arranged overdraft limit, but pay it back by 8.15 every night, do u still get charged?

    4pm is the cut off period to avoid unauthorised overdraft charges. Not sure if the same is true of authorised overdraft charges but there is a good chance it is
  • You have to balance your account before 'close of business', which is sometime between 3:30 and 4:30h (enquire about the exact time).

    If your account is still overdrawn after that time, you will be charged.

    Close of business might well be between 3:30PM and 4:30PM but Santander update after midnight the following day so any credits won't get into the account the same day except for Faster Payments from another bank.
