Well done to everyone who bought it. I was looking into the details and I realised there are varying screen sizes.

The tab2 is available at currys

for £199. and if I were to interpolate the prices, 149 is not a supercool deal. Unless I am missing something obvious.
this is only a 7inch and is it 3g?

the screen is smaller than the £149 one but the system is more updated, I suppose it depends what you're after.

Very cheap for the 3G model and exactly what I need for work (wifi's no use when you're stood on a customers drive) and couldn't afford! Thank you big time!
Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?

Hmmm, I agree. May the the one posted here is better. Also, clear difference in disk space 8 and 16.

I saw tab2 and presumed it was better.

Ive given it a go but doubt they will honour it!! Bought the Tab2 10in from Tesco for about £200 after discounts but when comparing the two there doesnt seem to be a huge amount of difference and this one has 3g.

I ordered one when first posted on HUKD - status is "Order not yet processed"..... but at least not got a cancellation email ....... yet !

As per usual, some peeps have ordered 3+ of these according to chat on line, so probably no chance of getting it even if HMV do honour the price. I cannot see them having that level of stock to clear.
Oh well, at least I tried..... fingers crossed.

but that one is only 7'' and is only 8gb.
The hmv one is nearly 9'' and 16g.

I've done a little research and took the plunge myself. I'm pretty sure it is a miss-price. It was near,y £500 a week or so ago.
It's generally around £350 or so, I think, so it's a very good bargain.

Wonder if we'll get it or not.
  • As I know absolutely zilch about the workings of these, is there anything extra I need to buy extra in order for this pad to work. Off to look into it more. I've had the email confirming my order. Thanks in advance - sally
