Paypal reversal of funds .. Am I covered

Hello
I sold an item on eBay, waited for payment, then when this was received (about a week ago) I posted off the item.
Now today, I receive an email from Paypal, saying the payment has been reversed .. the reason given being a bank problem (ie of the buyer)
I posted the item off, so do I now lose the money, or do Paypal cover my expences.
This is the first time this has happened to me, so I don't know what happens next.
thank you for any replies

The ONLY way you will win a chargeback reversal is with a certificate/proof of posting. When you posted the item, did you keep the receipt?0

only ever happened to me the once and that was when i sold a book for £80 to a buyer in the states. they reversed the payment as soon as i posted it. I contacted then and they wouldn't respond so i got in touch with paypal and was lucky that i used tracking which i provided to them. they checked the tracking and found it was delivered to the buyer so they paid me the money back. I think paypal gave me the money rather than the buyer. Think they later took it up with the buyer. Buyer claimed the bank reversed it and not her.
So you will need to prove you sent it to them.
is the buyer a newbie?0 -

Just to be clear, for a bank reversal it is as theonlyeayisup says and it is proof of posting that is required, tracking is NOT needed.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
