PPI Tescos card online

Hi there my mum took out a tescos credit card in the last 3-4 years, she has just realised that she has been paying PPI on it.

All I can assume is that she ticked the box online??

I feel that the PPI was miss sold as she did not require the insurance, she had enough cover in place to cover the card.

Has any one had success with claiming back in this type of scenario?
how can I put a solid case through for miss selling?

I feel that this product should not have been added without my mothers needs being assessed. I see now that Tescos no longer let u add it at application stage.

Any thoughts would be welcomed :money:

Since all lenders agreed to end the practice of Pre-ticked boxes in July 2007, your Mother made a "non-advised"purchase for which she cannot make a mis-selling complaint.

bought this insurance of her own volition.
