Will I received statutory PILON Entitlement?

The company I worked for went into liquidation in August andI have been paid my statutory redundancy and back dated wages.

Soon I will be received my RP2(?) form to fill in relatingto PILON. I worked for the company for25 years and was entitled to 12 weeks’ notice which I did not get due to theliquidation. Now as I understand it, if Ireceive the PILON money they will also take off any JSA allowance – however priorto being made redundant I was also carrying out work outside the company andset myself up also being self-employed (trading since May 11) and have beingpaid NI and filling it self-assessment forms and paying tax etc. so I could notclaim JSA.
Since being redundant I have continued to concentrate on my self-employedwork and have not looked for another “full time employment” job as I have beenworking for myself

Now my question is will I be entitled to any Statutory PILON payment as Ihave not actively been seeking NEW full time employment and I have not starteda NEW job since being made redundant.

I also thought that if I had started a NEW job the governmentwould take any money I had earned off the PILON money – I have not started aNEW job I already had one being self-employed.

Would be gretaful for any advice / insight. Many thanks

I suspect if you are generating income in the business that will be taken into account just like JSA as would any part time work.
