Hello all, I moved into a lovely place in East Dulwhich a few months back, and noticed there was pre-credit meters in the property (the ones which have a key/or card to charge).
After switching my current supply to NPOWER (i was with them in my previous property), I asked customer service to switch the meters over to normal credit meters. after two missed appointments to switch the meters, and three months later, the meters are now switched. i complained about the missed appointments and was given twenty quid each. also spoke to a lovely lady in pre credit section for gas called Linda. customers who use pre-credit meters are charged a higher amount for electric and gas, to cover the costs of this service. i complained to Linda, and she told me, I had paid £13.00 more over the three months. without warning, she said she would round the figure to £20.00 as a gesture of goodwill. I am still waiting on the team leader from the electric side to ring me.

NPOWER dont respond to complaints well. I emailed a complaint, received a call a few days later from someone in the complaints section, never heard from him again, how strange, i was not nasty to him!!
Anyone else had problems like this with Npower? is npower cheaper than others??
