    They do send a card reader which is "randomly used" when you setup a new payment, although I never used mine in the 3 months I had an account.

    I see what you mean, looking at their website:

    For the moment, you may be asked to use the Card Reader when you do the following tasks:
    • set up or amend standing orders
    • set up, amend or make bill payments
    • set up, amend or make funds transfer
    But let's not be too hard on 'em:


    Enter the PIN of the card that you are using into the Card Reader and press OK

    Security tip: Make sure that no one is watching you when you enter your PIN.
