    Can't see that it's really that much more difficult to keep a running total of spending on the CC and subtract that from the current account balance than it is to keep checking the current account balance if just using the DC.
    loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.

    I didn't say it was much more difficult but in reality, very few people do this. People want an up to date balance that tells them where they are at. Not one cleared balance and some pending transactions on 2 separate accounts that they have to reconcile every day. Hence the comment on margin for error
