Sterling or Euros?

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum but I am unsure where I should post my query.
I have a Spanish friend working in Spain, but employed by a British Company. Has anyone any idea if she could invoice them in Sterling, or if she should do it in Euros?
The Spanish system is so veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy complicated! and it seems that it depends on which tax advisor you speak to the answer is different, on other words total chaos.
I know its a long shot asking this on here, but just maybe someone can help. Thanks in advance

Euros I would imagine - otherwise she runs the risk that sterling weakens in value and with her outgoings in Euros there is a mismatch? I would have thought Euros will make tax affairs in spain a bit simpler. Ultimately she is a spanish tax payer earning income from another EU country - under EU treaty the tax treatment should be no different if the income is in Euros or Sterling unless someone else on here knows otherwise?
Good luck
