in Credit cards
Hi I wanted to apply for N&P building society gold current account for my wife. As she stays at home without any job. She does not have any income. The application form says that the person must have minimum 6000 annual income. Though we will be funding the account from my own current account; how do we declare the income for a Home maker ?
Can we say that she earns say 500 per month from the Husband for doing the house chores and maintaining the house ? Will this be considered a valid income from Banks and Credit Card companies for such application purposes?
So far I had not been paying her anything.. apart from she swiping my cards where ever she wished to.....[Will need to pay her from now on :-)]

They might consider it lying if you declare income that isn't actually earned. Why not just get a basic bank account, no income needed.
If you need advanced facilities, make her a joint account holder with your bank?0 -
Income is income. Earnings are earnings. You don't have to earn income. You can get income from a variety of sources. If it's worded as income then put what you like down if you plan to pay that amount in0
