Cheapest Online Supermarket?

Asda don't deliver in my area and Tesco charge £3.99 for delivery. Do you know of a cheaper one? Is Morrisons going to do a online version?

Also is it worth paying the £3.99 for delivery? My nearest supermarket is waitrose but because i'm budgeting to go to Australia next year i may have to shop elsewhere.

I have a sainsburys near me but it's a bus ride costing me £2 in bus fare and i have a trolley to fill up, but i'm not sure if it's worth it.

What are your experiences?

If you take a look on the Discount Codes 'n Vouchers board there are often threads giving codes for free delivery or extra clubcard points.

Also it might be worth having a look at these shopping comparison websites to see where would be best for you to shop:

Check whether the supermarkets do free buses - the ones near me do them a couple of times a day.
I now do my big monthly storecupboard shop online - i definitely save money (despite the delivery charge) because I only buy what I need, rather than what leaps into my trolley of its own accord!

asda is cheaper - meat and cheese more expensive in tesco and it can be harder to scroll through and find the value items in tesco.
However tesco have made it much easier to navigate the special offers, the website works well - you can usually avoid delivery charges using coupons (£5 off a £50 shop etc) and you get clubcard points.

On a typical £50 shop you can use coupon to offset delivery charge plus they take special offer price off afterwards so you can spend say £40 in reality and get 50 clubcard points worth £2.00 in deals.

As i do not drive i have to do my shopping by bits and pieces.
i'm extremely fortunate that i live in the centre of town which is about a 1 min walk from Sainsburys and even less for an iceland.
We go to iceland once a week, to get frozen and go back and forth from sainsburys throughout the week.
sounds fine, but it costs more as it's very easy to say "oh chuck that in as its on offer".
On avaerage i visit sainsburys 3-4 times a week (as i do not drive and cannot carry ore than a handfull of bags). Each time i visit i spend between £14-£20.
Tesco online delivery shopping costs us between £30 and £50 a week.
Only problem is things like salad and fruit.. we eat a lot of fruit and salad... but they dont tend to last a week usually (especially when the pickers give you one with a shorter date).
So i end up going back into sainsburys (for things i forgot on Tesco and more salad and spend more there too.
So wheres the best place to buy blueberry trees, and is it easy to grow salad when you live in a flat??
