more or less... I know it won't be cheap but I hope to get better quality heat than this from the gas central heating. By better heat I mean that even the fire has gone stove is still warm and emits heat where my radiators are cold 15 minutes after switching the heating off. Also my impression is that temperature of burning wood is much more higher than from gas. (I won't touch the stove but I surely can touch my radiator without burning!)

If I opt out to not invest in stove I need to change my combi boiler as it's 12 years old and I have impression that it uses to much gas, also during the shower it turns off and turns on so we waste water as well. There is no chance to increase pressure in the combi boiler as we already tried so I assume that it's faulty. Also we would have to change some radiators as person who lived here before wasn't thinking much by choosing XS radiator in the main bedroom. Today's temperature in my bedroom is 13.4 C after 4 hours of heating on.
