talkhealth is looking for 250 volunteers over the age of 60 with dry skin, resident in the UK, to take part in a 28 day survey using Balneum Cream manufactured by Almirall.

Balneum Cream has been specially formulated to replace naturally occurring moisturising agents lost in dry skin and is for dry and very dry skin conditions. Healthy skin contains Natural Moisturising Factors for example Urea and Lactic Acid. These work together to keep the skin hydrated. The skin cells are surrounded by natural lipids, which are called Ceramides, which lock moisture into the skin.

We would like to hear your general feedback on how effective you found this cream in the treatment of your dry skin against other emollients that are available. Balneum Cream is currently available to be purchased at pharmacies.

To take part simply complete the short pre-qualification questionnaire below. If you are chosen to take part we will notify you by email, after the closing date of 5 November 2012, and then send you a 500ml Balneum Cream pump, together with detailed instructions on how to use the cream.

All we ask is for you to fill in a simple diary log once every 7 days for 1 month and return to us once completed with your feedback. The diary is easy to complete and consists of a set of multiple choice questions.
