IE, tools, internet options, history, clear history.
IE, tools, internet options, content, autocomplete, clear forms.. (you can turn autocomplete off on the advanced tab).

If you use the latest Google Toolbar - you'd click on 'Clear History' in the dropdown box. G

P.S. If you'd like to selectively delete search terms, GooDelete History could be useful.0 -
Clicking twice in any web page input box (including Google search) brings up a dropdown list of every item entered. Use the up/down arrow keys or mouse to highlight an entry and then press Delete key to delete it. Similarly, entering any character in the box shows all the items beginning with that character.0
