Only PSP UMD movies are region coded the US games work fine on aUK PSP.
DS Im not sure, I have a few US games for the R4 and they work without problems, that maybe the R4 that sorts that out.
I have just had a look at my UK charger for the DS lite and it doesnt have the usual 115-230v mark on it indicateing it works in the US 115v system so I dont know if it will work, from experiance of other 230 chargers i don't think a UK ds charger will work in the US
Iwould possibly look at getting a USB charger/sync cable and a US plug with a USB connector on it, I used one to charge all my stuff that charges via USB.
I got it from boxwave0 -
Been on the us walmart site so bound to be able to pick something up there for $14 that i dont mind, or just a thought it looks like my creative zen usb lead has the same point so maybe i charge it with that if the villa has a pc
