A moving experience

Hi Guys, I'm moving to t'other side of the country, prob end of Nov, unless it all goes pear-shaped. I wondered if anyone has any comping tips or suggestions re continuing to comp. Like, should I just stop for now and start again once I've moved, or would you keep going, perhaps using a friend's address?

I'm such an addict. I'm would find it really hard to quit comping for perhaps three months or more :eek::eek::eek::eek:

Thanks in advance :T

Keep going, make sure you have mail forwarding when you move.

ITV (usually short dates and fast payout) and any that don't require your full address at the time of entry shouldn't be a problem anyway.

    Good luck with the move.

Thanks loads for that mjm. I hadn't even thought that plenty of comps don't even ask for addresses when entering. All that you said makes sense :T:T:T

Make sure you contact royal mail to redirect your post for a while for some of those longer running comps you may have entered and forgotten about!

You could also start using your new address as soon as you know it for longer competitions. Good luck with the movex

You could always enter for me instead, and I could have a break:rotfl:
My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly :)

Could you use a family member's address? I used my in-laws address while we were waiting to exchange, just in case. Thankfully I don't seem to get much junk mail despite all the competitions I enter so I only received a couple of bits of mail at their address. No wins either though!

Oh and just make sure you update all your accounts after you move. I recently won a competition where you had to be a member to enter. I'd thought I'd only supplied my e-mail address when I'd registered but it was only when I won that I realised that they had my (old) home address on file. Thankfully I caught them in time and they kindly sent the prize to my new address, but it pays to be sure and double check all the websites you're registered with to see exactly what details they hold.
