I have just unboxed my new ipad 3 which is wi-fi. My o2 wireless router is being picked up with a full signal. I am sitting next to my router. I have entered my password and it has been accepted BUT it just will not connect to itunes. The loading circle just goes round and round endlessly with nothing happening. Sometimes a message flags up saying there is no connection. I have looked on youtube for help but haven't found anything except a setting up of wi-fi which I have done everything explained.

is it just iTunes store that cannot load or everything? ie if you try to visit a website in Safari does that work?0 -
I am in setup mode so can't try any websites. I have no way of progressing past the connect to itunes stage. It's frustrating !0

set the iPad up as a New iPad rather than Restore from iTunes, if that is the part that gives you the connect to iTunes logo.
or if you mean the activation bit after signing into your AppleID? and accepting the T&Cs then I don't know.0 -
It's ok, I realize now I had to plug it into my PC via USB to get set-up.
Thanks anyway.0 -
basic steps
have you reset the router?0 -
Now I am in the desktop mode and registered the ipad, I still can't connect to o2 wireless. No need to re-set router as I am online in my PC.0

Ahhh, just phoned o2 and they told me the code is on the bottom of the router :-)
Thanks anyway folks.0
