Hi All

Just had in our quoted for next year and a massive 28% increase.

Having a quick scan they've changed the policy T&C's too.

Will be calling them later to see if they'll cut the price, but why do they try on every single year.

No like we've even called them out in the last 2 years

Called and got sorted in record time !!

Increase is now down to 10%, still way above the rate of inflation, RPI etc

We just get legally robbed non stop in the UK

You only 'get robbed' if you agree to be robbed. use a local independent GSR RGI, or cancel a service you really don't need.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

    £12.21 after my phone call

Never had boiler insurance until about 3 yrs ago.

A 28% increase is a 28 increase at the end of the day

and did you spot the biggest change to their terms and conditions...... on the second last page????????

    Our repair standards
Repairs are usually temporary in order to alleviate the problem. However, a permanent repair may be carried out if it’s as cost effective as a temporary repair

this is on all their terms and conditions.... have a look, then cringe.
Promo codes are never always cheaper..... isnt that right EuropCar?

Last year I paid £107.0. Just had the renewal notice starting 27.10.12 and it has gone up y60& to £170.00. Ridiculous and cancelled. They would only bring by £10.00.

Don't think Homeserve will be around much longer if they continue to try and fleece their customers with double digit percentage increases.
After they gave me a similar increase I dumped them for npower and I can see many others leaving them for good now.
