When does money get paid into a Santander account

Hi everybody
Can anybody tell me if money sent by Bank Giro Credit ever appears in a Santander account later in the day? Just that I was expecting some money to be paid in today and it hasn't appeared (when it normally appears first thing in the morning) and just wondered if it was worth giving them a call.
There's every chance it could be in there tomorrow, but I just wondered if anybody had experience of it being paid in later in the day (say, after 9am or 1pm etc)!

Bank giro credit will be credited in the early hours of the morning. Faster payments will be credited pretty much as the other bank releases it.
If it isn't there now then it will be the morning!!0 -
