New battery?

Well, I've got six vehicles, two that usually overwinter laid up, a couple of 12 v batteries I use to run various things in the workshop, and two more spare I keep charged all year.

The Aldi one works fine for these, and it's had the sort of use in a couple of years most people give them in a lifetime. I have to admit, I'm going to buy another to save moving it around as much.
I might take a punt on the Lidl one, but I doubt I'll be spending on a Ctek.

He has a 1100cc bike (I think - called Tina as it's a blackbird!) so you could well be right.

Define best. They are both smart chargers with almost identical specs.

Is it worth paying an extra £ to get two more years warranty?

The Lidl one has easily detachable battery clamps similar to the CTEK and may even come off the same production line.

Neither is good enough for our two brand snob posters above!

It looks good to me.
(But then again, so does the Aldi one, and your doesn't say Ctek on the box either)

It's a decent smart charger, connect it up overnight and see what happens.
