I'm looking to upgrade the stock cooler that came with my i5 3570K, the Motherboard I use is the ASUS P8Z77-V LX
The cooler needs to fit into a Midi case and I would prefer one that can be fitted without removing the MB and also it needs to give me enough room to use all four RAM slots

- 3 reasons (1) overheating (2) overclocking (3 noise / vibration
The P8Z77-V LX is a crappy overclocking mobo, overheating can be cured, and noise / vibration is usually a crappy case or a HDD that's poorly secured or 'OOB. A stock cooler gives 100% access. Do you just fancy a change, or do you have a problem that can be sorted with good advice from friends ?
Are you sure it will it fit in your MIDI ? it's 6 1/2" [6.65] high and needs a rear metal support bracket fitting for the upper metal stand off'sDisclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion.
