Google Nexus 7 - 3G version?

Does anyone know whether a 3G version of the Google Nexus 7 tablet is about to be launched? If so, does anyone know the release date and price?
I've been tempted to go for one but would really like a 3G version. I know that WiFi is available quite extensively nowadays (home, coffee shops etc) but it would be nice to use it on the go e.g public transport etc.
