Going absolutely mental trying to renew my car insurance - ANY HELP!??!?!

Ok, so my car insurance is up for renewal. So it comes thru the post, as 1900 for the year (around 200 a month, which is nicely cheaper than the 2500 premium the year before, so i should be happy right?) WRONG!
Online, I typed in the exact same details, infact I LOWERED my excess and UPPED my milage, and it came out being 900 pounds for the year (which would work out around 100 a month).
Now when I tell them I want to pay by direct debit, on the phone to DIAMOND (the devil's insurer), they tell me there is no option and they CANNOT TELL ME WHY, AS THEY DO NOT KNOW!!!!!
What on EARTH am I meant to do? I literally can't and won't pay 900 pounds upfront, and have been paying for direct debit for the last year? So what on earth can I do? I've spoken to all different departments (customer service, renewals, new quotes, everyone, payment side of the company) and NO1 can give me any relief. I really need advice as they cannot just leave it as they can't tell me why, or do anything about it. What on earth do I do?

Im guessing...
Changing the excess and mileage got you a new company, But to offer that low premium their criteria is that they want people who can afford to pay the premium in full.
Take out a loan or CC to pay for it in full? Or get a different company.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
