What car to buy for teenager?

there is another theory that if you buy your child a 2 seater car (poormans sports car), it is safer than a 4 seater.
The reasoning behind this that there are fewer people in it, more responsible, less mates to travel with and go to parties with, and be a bad influence. Less spur of the moment road trip ideas. You are less chance to get a car full of drunken teenagers. No mob mentality. Also that back seat often does not fold, so harder to get knocked up, or get someone knocked up.
Insurance may be a bit more, but you save in other areas.

It is very dependant on the area that you live in and the vehicle.Provisional insurance is a different price to after you pass, it increases greatly then. .

Who's the insurer?
We are quoted about £60 a month for Collingwood, my daughter paid £50 a month a couple of years ago on her mini.
They don't insure full licence though.0 -

Forget 2 seaters like MR2, MX5 Z3 as they will all be group 12+ and wont be very cheap to insure."Dream World" by The B Sharps....describes a lot of the posts in the Loans and Mortgage sections !!!0 -
